Sending tests for automated ECIAdmin customer emails

I have been updating our automated emails - the ones that ECIAdmin sends out for things like order confirmations, approvals, etc. I noticed that there is no good way to test an email without placing an order (and subsequently having to delete it, tell our warehouse to not fill it, etc etc). This is a huge hassle for even the smallest of changes.
