On the previous UI, users who needed to add a long sequence of exact item numbers to their order could easily do so in Quick Order. They could type or paste in the item number, hit enter, be given another line, and repeat this process until all items were added. The process now takes significantly longer. After they type/paste in an item number, they now have to hit enter and then click "Save and Add More." Not only are there now two steps between each item instead of one, but each step takes longer. After hitting enter, the item now takes longer to load (or seems to), and if there is a suggested sub, users have to physically click "use original item" to dismiss it, which adds a third step. A suggested sub should not be this intrusive on a feature advertised as "quick." Then, after clicking "save and add more," users have to wait for the item to be added to the main screen and for the sidebar to clear before adding another item. The time it takes to complete this process has more than doubled. Customers, such as large universities, who frequently place large orders of pre-determined items are frustrated that a feature that previously made this process efficient was worsened.
